Furniture design

furniture design Answers to this can be multiple. Jeannette Altherr is one of the answers for beautiful furniture designs?

Jeannette Altherr was born in Heidelberg, Germany in 1965 and she has become a very famous German designer and stylist, and is now one third of the brilliant designing trio Lievore Altherr Molina studio. Jeannette studied at the Industrial Design School in Darmstdt, and then she later

moved to Barcelona to further her studies at the Escuela Massana in design, there she was influenced heavily by the mixture of old tastes with the new of the rich Spanish design. Jeannette quickly made Barcelona her permanent place of residence, as she had begun working for several different design magazines, where she did a lot of styling and design, as well as working for “El PaĆs Semanal”.

Jeannette was beginning to accumulate her preferences and knowledge within the styling and design parameters, and was a clear and precise person with a lot on her mind, and a thirst to prove her worth and her potential. She had a lot of experience in the three particular areas of art direction, design, and consulting, which made her quite capable of understanding and conceiving bigger things and projects in one go. But her conception of design spans a more massive platform than initially thought, as her process takes her through observation, understanding, exploring, choosing, doubting, taking sides, visualizing, and letting go completely and waiting for it to communicate…something.

And along the way she had also began collaborating for the first time with the great designer Alberto Lievore in 1989, thus giving her another steeping stone for success and growth, and during this time working with Lievore she grew immensely, drawing inspiration and knowledge from him and other great designers. They became partners, and along with Manel Molina they formed the firm Lievore Altherr Molina officially in 1991, where they enjoyed massive worldwide appeal with their many clients and unique designs. Their work together has been acknowledged many times, and praises have been heaped upon them with so many accolades and awards, as they continuously expand and grow with each venture. The studio does a combination of designing and building furniture, interior design, product design, packaging, art direction, and consultancy, among other things.

Jeannette Altherr is also the author of the book “Children Only”, and it is published by Carles Broto. She is constantly pushing herself in her work ethics, as she is inspired by a lot of things and ideals she takes very seriously, for example Apple as a company and a design heaven inspires her with their calm flowing seamless, practical style, other designers like the Charles Eames, Harry Bertoia, Isamu Noguchi, Poul Kjaerholm just to name a few, and life in all its entirety is the purest inspiration that she draws from. Altherr will always keep her cool, free flowing, bold style within everything that Lievore Altherr Molina does, as she is a very expressive and unique person, who is sure to be labeled as one of the best in the business.
